Top Of The Morning!

t's always a good morning in Dingle … even when it is raining! Why not come and join us for breakfast and a weather forecast in our conservatory overlooking Dingle Harbour. You might even see Fungie, Dingle's resident dolphin, playing in the early morning sunshine.

Relax over a cup of freshly-brewed coffee, or have a cup of herbal tea, while we're cooking your Traditional Irish Breakfast or another selection from our Breakfast Menu.

Then look over our breakfast buffet table, which is flanked on either side by pictures of Fungie and of Dingle in the early part of the century. Or have a look at our interesting collection of police badges. Have you got one to add?

From our Breakfast Buffet . . .

    • Freshly squeezed orange juice and apple juice
    • Selection of cereals and homemade muesli
    • Stewed apples
    • Prunes soaked in their own juice
    • Fresh orange segments
    • Diced sweet pineapple
    • Natural yogurt and honey
    • Cold meat and Irish cheeses for the adventurous
    • Homemade brown wheatgerm bread
    • A variety of breads, including treacle bread, raisin and sultana bread, and coconut scones

The breads, like the weather, vary every day; but again, like the weather, there is something to suit every taste.

If our buffet doesn't quite suit you, then choose a meal from our Cooked Breakfast Menu! Choose from:

    • Hot porridge
    • Traditional Irish Breakfast
    • Scrambled eggs with strips of wild smoked salmon
    • Omelet of the morning
    • Boiled eggs, cooked to your liking
    • Irish honey pancake
    • Special toasted sandwich with ham, cheese and tomato
    • Grilled Ballyhea kippers (smoked herring)
    • We often offer grilled fresh fish

Go néirí an bóthar leat.
May the road rise to meet you.

This saying was used in every Irish house after breakfast for hundreds of years. We still use it!
